The Sandhills Jewish Congregation (SJC) at Beth Shalom is a warm and vibrant congregation devoted to Jewish learning, worship and acts of loving-kindness. We are affiliated with the Reform Movement.
We are a warm and welcoming congregation that comes together for worship, Jewish holidays, life-cycle events, religious education, social action, as well as social activities.
Our membership is diverse, with members coming from all over the country and from the entire spectrum of Jewish backgrounds.
Membership is open to families with at least one Jewish adult, and individuals who have one Jewish parent. We welcome interfaith couples, LBGTQ members and Jews of all races. We welcome all family members to join as full members no matter their faith affiliation.
